Nehemiah Forum

Join us as we discuss what it looks like to engage ALL of God's people to use ALL their gifts to bless ALL the peoples of the earth. What needs to change in the way we talk, recruit, train, and send people out to the nations in order to realize God's greater vision of transformation? 

This pre-Expo “think tank” will dive into issues that leaders of companies, churches, and organizations face, and how we can use Kingdom-thinking to flip problems into opportunities for growth.

B4T Coaches Workshop

B4T coaching is essential. It brings help to those doing some of the most difficult things on the planet! We are focused on strategies to coach leaders to build for-profit businesses that are truly Kingdom oriented - making disciples in the least-reached countries in the world. This training is ideal for existing and prospective B4T leaders as well as any business coach interested in working with B4T leaders (either within the OPEN network or with any other organization).

Why attend:
-Gain an insider's view on what OPEN is all about by rubbing shoulders with several of OPEN's coaches and B4T leaders.
-Participate in a live group coaching session with a B4T leader in the field - gain new insights on the challenges these workers face and how to best coach them.
-Network with OPEN Coaches, B4T leaders and other workshop participants during the lunch that is provided.
-Learn about the different coaching approaches used with OPEN - discover new approaches you can use within your coaching as well as discern if God is leading you to get more involved with OPEN Coaching.
-Discover creative ways to actively bring Jesus very practically into your coaching conversations, helping those you coach to more effectively hear God's voice and obey what He is saying.

This seminar engages you in a conversation on Biblical Stewardship and Faith-Driven Investing. Join financial professionals and current and potential impact investors as we explore conversations on:

-Addressing the Sacred/Secular Divide in our Wallets
-Managing the Father's Assets
-Investing in Faith-Driven Funds and Businesses in Frontier Markets

GENERAL SESSION TALKS

Come ready to dive into the deep end. We will send out pre-read (watch) videos prior to the Expo so you will be familiar with topics like Avodah, Acts 1:8, and the Sacred/Secular divide ahead of time. We will also send a reminder video of last year’s theme, “Going Into Babylon” as preparation for this Expo. When we’re together, we will be guided by the Word of God as we discover what it looks like to rebuild the world in the image of God through the gifts and skills God has entrusted to us.

WORKSHOPS

There will be 2 workshop sessions each on Friday and Saturday with six workshops at each time. Each workshop will be given 2 times. Workshops will be given by the General Session speakers who have the opportunity to take a deeper dive into their topics (investing, coaching, B4T experiences, church support, etc.)
